FAO NC
The Republic of Armenia became a member of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations on 8 November 1993. Since becoming a Member Nation of FAO the Armenian Government has received FAO's support in developing the national agricultural strategy and policies, implementing various development and emergency projects aimed at increasing agricultural productivity and the level of food security as well as eradicating poverty in the country.
