The Association for Medicinal and Aromatic Plants of Southeast European Countries (AMAPSEEC) & Institute for Medicinal Plant Research “Dr Josif Pančić”, Belgrade, are organizing the 7th Conference on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants of Southeast European Countries (7th CMAPSEEC), in hotel “Patria”, Subotica (Serbia), from May 27-30, 2012.  

FAO holds Regional Round Table on Problems of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants in Budapest - Hungary beetween 3-5 April 2012. Participants discuss cultivation of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, presentation of MAPs in the differenet regions of Europe such as the Nordic countries, Russian Federation, the Balkan, etc. ESCORENA network is presented and new subnetwork created and updated.

Preparatory meeting for the Regional Roundtable on MAP organized on 09 February 2012 in Budapest. Preparatory meeting  was held in FAO REU Office, Budapest for the Regional Roundtable on Medicinal and Aromatic Plants with the participation of Prof. Akos Mathe, Mr Michal  Demes, Mr Avetik Nersisyan, Mr Hafiz Muminjanov, Mr Norbert Winkler-Ráthonyi, Mr Ludmilla Vorobej, Ms Gyongyi Orszag and Mr Geza Gabriel. The aim of the meeting was to generally discuss the tasks and responsibilities and also to collect further proposals related to the event.
