Sustainable Food Systems for Healthy Diets in Europe and Central Asia

A joint FAO/WHO Regional Symposium and initiative in collaboration with UNICEF and WFP

The regional symposium “Sustainable Food Systems for Healthy Diets in Europe and Central Asia” will be a joint FAO/WHO regional symposium organized in close collaboration with UNICEF and WFP and it will take place in Budapest on 4-5 December 2017.

 

The regional symposium will provide an excellent platform and opportunity to explore policies and programme options, countries’ good practices and experiences conducive to sustainable food systems that deliver diverse, safe and nutritious food for healthy diets for all. We would like to encourage you to share your experiences, good practices and comments related to nutrition-sensitive policy implementation and school food and nutrition programs. The FAO’s Global Forum on Food Security and Nutrition hosts the following platforms related to the Regional Symposium:

Global Dialogue (GD) on the International Year of Pulses 2016

was organizing a  Global Dialogue (GD) on the International Year of Pulses 2016 at its headquarters in Rome, Italy from 22 to 23 November 2016.
