Introductory webinar series: NATURAL SUBSTANCES OF PLANT ORIGIN, ESSENTIAL OILS: Production, Processing and Utilization

An introductory webinar series of three one-hour webinar presentations, under the title:

NATURAL SUBSTANCES OF PLANT ORIGIN, ESSENTIAL OILS: Production, Processing and Utilization,

was organized by the ERASMUs+ Network EOHUB, in collaboration with the Széchenyi István University, Faculty of Agriculture and Food Sciences, Mosonmagyaróvár (HU) and International Council for Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (ICMAP).

The presentations given by Prof.emer. Dr. Máthé, Ákos, in Hungarian, were aimed at introducing basic principles and current highlights in natural product and essential oil R+D., to an audience of diverse backgrounds (students and participants from outside the academia).

As an outcome of the “mini-course” it can be stated that the series served well the dissemination objectives of EOHUB and can be regarded as a template for farther similar activities aimed at offering sector-specific theoretical and practical syllabi essential for the specialization process in the essential oil and MAPs sectors.
