OBJECTIVES

Collect and provide information from of the agricultural sector:

  • monitor information and related links of agricultural institutions, important agriculture, food and nutrition, veterinary and other related subjects and information resources;
  • monitor and promote national and international events related to the objectives of AgroWeb.

Capacity building and inter-institutional cooperation

  • to build capacities and inter-institutional cooperation:
  • development of communication and cooperation amongst the countries in the region, and with international organizations such as FAO and IAALD;
  • development and promoting common standards and guidelines for information management.
